Meet Quarneeka Murry, the Queen of Yoni Detox
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Quarneeka Murry. Read her story below and get connected with this fellow creative in the Luxurae Collective.
To get our readers familiar with you, tell us a little about yourself and the path that led you to becoming a creative in your industry.
I am the Queen of Yoni Detox. As a woman who struggled with infertility issues, it's important to me to advocate for women's health & wellness. Our products function to offer natural products & services that help to promote optimal health and wellness as well as help women to feel as confident as possible.
As a creative, what has been your greatest inspiration for your work? How do you remain authentic in your creativity?
As a creative, my greatest inspiration is the women whose lives are directly impacted through the use of our products and/or services. Women who are able to conceive, those who deal with menopause issues, etc. As an entrepreneur who was able to grow a website-based business organically by referrals & word of mouth, our private Facebook group, Queens of Yoni Detox allows the opportunity to communicate and interact with customers authentically. We educate, laugh, promote, & uplift through the use of this platform.
Monetizing your creativity is no easy task. Was the journey to making this happen difficult for you? What were some of the highs and lows?
The journey to monetize was not easy but it was so worth it. During these past 5 years, our business has made a few transitions while trying to avoid the route that is a true passion. We opened a brick-and-mortar location for 2 years which was a huge learning lesson. Ultimately our goal is to serve all of our customers throughout the country using one convenient location.
Creatives can get super busy and often neglect their health and wellness in the process. What do you do to stay balanced through it all?
Balance for me means rest. Having a strong support system has been essential in allowing the balance that is needed. Also scheduling pamper time such as spa days has become a normal routine.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone looking to make a full-time career out of their creativity?
One piece of advice to anyone who is looking to make a career out of their creativity is to find their lane and work to make it unique. Focus on finding an audience and constantly work to provide their needs.
